Like all Garmin watches, the Epic General 2 works with Garmin Connect processors (Android and iOS). A particularly comprehensive application that presents data collected from its home screen in the form of widgets.

There is also a summary of the last day and the last 7 days, to check if we have achieved our objectives. All functions are grouped into a calendar that can be accessed via the third tab of the application.

Competition enthusiasts can win badges and compete with their friends, which is similar to the second tab challenges of the app. However this section is reserved for our personal contacts. We would have loved to see the official games with an opening to the outside world.

The social aspect of the app is in the “Flux” tab, which allows you to follow the functions of our contacts using Garmin Friend Connect.

Absolutely for the sports area, there are training programs like Garmin Coach, Setting Distance and Performance Goals in the Run, for example, or FaceBo to achieve speed strategy.

Epix Gen 2 is compatible with Garmin Golf and Garmin Dive (diving) and supports applications available at the Garmin Connect IQ Store.
