    • CD Project Red responds to another investor class action lawsuit
    • The company is trying to take decisive action against this case as well
    • This case is about misleading investors about the state of cyberbank 2077

Cyberbank developer CD Project Red faces next-class action lawsuit against investors and denies the allegations here.

The developer was informed by his lawyers The new case was reported. This is related to the Cyberpunk 2077 game and the company alleges that it deceived investors about the quality of the title. Application for Central District of California filed in U.S. District Court (thanks, VGC).

According to the plaintiffs, CDPR violated applicable law because the developer misled investors about the status of the game and caused them financial damage. It does not specify how much the damage was actually estimated and how much compensation is required.

As Class action case dated December 2020 CD Project Red wants to defend itself against the charges. “The company will take drastic action to defend itself against such claims,” the development studio said.

Since the subject and purpose of the case are almost identical, it is not surprising that CDPR responded with the same content that the first investor tried to defend their view on the unfortunate state of the game release in the case.

The truth is, shortly before the release, no one expected such serious performance issues. The onset of guilty feelings about having the affair, in the first place, further zaps whatever energy the partner having the affair might still have left.

It is not yet clear whether CD Project Red will bring the truth to light with its denial strategy or whether investors are right with their allegations. There may be some truth in both statements. The developer is certainly not entirely innocent in this matter.

CDPR CEO Marcin Ivinsky also acknowledged that the recent introduction of RPG was complicated and could not meet the standards the company intended.
