The first Delight of the Raison 7000

The photo of the largest IHS bears the stigma attached to it by its host.

You have to agree, Presentation of the Ryzen 7000 by AMD during Computex 2022 Some things were a little disappointing and very secretive; In the days that followed, Robert Hollock had to clarify some of the points mentioned during the presentation. In fact, AMD did not disclose the Ryzen 7000 processor, although MSI took care of it: the brand released. “Tutorial” video on installing the Ryzen 7000 on its AM5 socket ; The video was soon removed. Today, this is a film by TechPowerUp that catches our attention. Site it IHS (Integrated heat dissipationRaison 7000)

Comparing this shot with the MSI video and the official image of the Ryzen 7000s is really similar. The retracted IHS glove is held in place by hand; It betrays the overlocker that was brought in to handle certain products that require protection. If so, it would not take long for us to be overwhelmed by so many criteria. However, the photo reveals IHS at low thickness; CCD and I / O chip footprints are clearly visible.
