The ‘fall of root cards’ is coming to PC and Nintendo Switch in early 2021

One of the highlights of last year’s Apple Arcade launch Where the cards fall, A one-piece puzzle game that creates houses of cards to guide your character through an art geometric landscape. It was exclusively an Apple Arcade at the time, and certainly one of the most compelling reasons to subscribe to this service. Now, however, it will finally hit the Nintendo Switch, Steam and Epic game store early next year.

Where the cards fall It’s a mobile game, but its story and dynamics are much deeper than usual. In our hands last year, with our own Jessica Continent, the game is unique and highly interactive because you create a living world without unique positions or loading screens. Creating cards can be simple, but finding puzzles can be very difficult over time. The reverse is that there is no death in this game, so you have to focus on the puzzles and story without worrying about dying.
