Believe it or not, but it’s been 20 years since Sega’s JRPG Skies of Arcadia Released on Dreamcast. This was followed by the GameCube version Legends of the Skies of Arcadia In 2002.

Kenji Hiruta – considered one of the “main devs” in the original release – took this opportunity to let fans know that if they want an “HD remaster or sequel” it will depend on Sega (not himself). SoA Related “Games.

Interestingly, he’s working on “something” related to the Skies of Arcadia … it’s not just a game.

Happy 20th Anniversary of SoA! I know a lot of guys want an HD remaster or sequel, but unfortunately it’s based on SEGA and I’m not working for SoA related games. But, I am working on something related to SoA. It may be a small change, but not zero. We are changing something. pic.twitter.com/To4K2Aq3cA– Kenji Hiruta (@ k_h00) October 4, 2020

Earlier this year, Hiruta said he wanted to develop a sequel to Skies of Arcade and would send fans all the positive feedback about the game directly to Sega, a series to let fans know how passionate they are about it.
