Free League 1: QR codes will be displayed on the streets for easy download of 100% football app

For free, the new ad campaign allows football fans to access the mobile app in seconds following its service.

Unpack your smartphone and it is in your pocket. Advertising for street furniture makes it very easy to download the free Ligue 1 mobile app by scanning the QR code. Once the QR code is detected, the user will return to the application page in the Play Store if they have an Android smartphone or an iPhone in the App Store.

Announced in July 2020, the free Ligue 1 is offered for free to freebox and free mobile subscribers (excluding the 2 euro package). For others, it costs 99 3.99 a month, with no obligation (after the free running period for everyone).

Available on Freebox (Freebox TV app or Channel 63), Android and iOS, Free Ligue 1 provides live coverage of Ligue 1 matches, as well as original content (abstracts, broadcasts, presentations, interviews and web documentaries).

Last season, Free’s 100% football service claimed 700,000 downloads for its use, with some large posters having more than 500,000 users.

Driven by the desire to become the best companion of a club supporter or football fan, Free League now wants to further enhance the experience like a live broadcast by working. “In a multiplex feed, the same feed allows multiple matches to be played simultaneously, for example on Sundays at 3 p.m.”.
