Print your photos with your mobile phone

Apple devices

The task is easy for owners of Apple devices. When purchasing a printer, make sure it has “airprint” functionality. This information is usually found on the product description or on its packaging. You can even find a sticker with this word directly on the printer. Without the “Airprint” function, printing from a computer is the only option.

In most cases, the mobile phone and the printer automatically connect to the same network. To test if this is the case, go to “Printers” on the printer. The network name will then appear under the keyword “Wlan”, “WiFi” or “Wireless Network”. The process is the same for mobile phones and tablets.

You need to open the application where you want to print a document. If the goal is to print the screen, take a screen shot. To do this, press the On / Off button and the Home button or the On / Off button and the Volume Up button simultaneously depending on the phone.

The print button can be found in different places depending on the application. Most often the location is at the bottom of the screen. Its logo is in principle one of the following: , Or. We press it and then select “Print”. A preview will appear before printing. Select the printer at the top of the screen and then press “Print”. Example: In emails, press, scroll down and select “Print”.

When the print preview is displayed, you can go to “Options” to define whether the document should be printed in black and white or some other format on both sides.

Android devices

“Google Cloud Print” is the easiest way to print with Android. But that printing service was discontinued at the end of 2020.

You will now need to download a different printing application depending on the printer model. The danger is that it will not work with printers over the age of fifteen.
