During an interview with IGN colleagues, Pearl Abyss lead producer Sung Kim revealed some amazing new details about it. Game World, Exploration and Tokebit From Tokwi.
Tokabi are monsters that can be used in our Avatar battle. These are spirits inspired by the talkie copy of Korean folk tales, born out of people’s dreams and desires, which allowed the development team to engage in their designs and talents.
“Born from the dreams of the Tokabi people. For example, someone wants to become a boxer, but their parents or other reasons could not achieve this goal. The inability of a boxer to create tokapi and achieve this desire manifests itself as a dream. Use the information collected about them with us after they have met their special needs.”
Moreover, Kim has confirmed that Tokabi’s skills will be useful not only in battle, but also in secondary activities of the game in some ways. Tokavi’s leading producer also talked about this Game World And what is seen in the trailers so far is only a small part of the vast island that is the backdrop to the events of Tokebau.
“There are two cities in the Gamescom trailer, including White Whale Town. I do not know if I can describe the size of the city, but you can imagine it like this: the areas you saw in the trailer are only 10% of the island. This map is large enough that you can wander around and explore the open world.“
In addition to the skateboards, rocket skates, water bikes, bicycles and mini-cars found in the latest trailer, Kim explains that there will be many modes of transport that will allow you to freely explore the sports world in Tokyo. It did not disclose further details. However, the lead producer of Pearl Abyss has revealed that the game will feature Day / night cycle, seasons and changing weather. In the same interview, Toque explains that although it is no longer an MMO, it will still have co-op and PvP multiplayer.
