At an investor conference, those in charge of the CD Projekt also talked about their plans for the “Cyberpunk 2077” and “The Witcher” brands. That being said, these should be expanded sooner or later with multiplayer components.
During the current conference for investors, those in charge of CD Projekt talked about their plans for the future and discussed the future of the “Cyberpunk 2077” and “The Witcher” series.
According to company president Adam Kiciński, both brands will be enriched with multiplayer components in the future. Kiciński has not released which of the two series will begin. However, last year CD Projekt announced a standalone multiplayer for the “Cyberpunk 2077”, which was temporarily suspended due to technical issues encountered during the release of the roll-flaming game. Therefore, work on the project has already begun or will be restarted.
Developers rely on the learning effect
“We plan to gradually add multiplayer capabilities to both owners, including Cyberbank in the future,” Kissinski said. “We are not going to reveal which ownership will get the first multiplayer features, but it will be one we can learn from the first try and add many more.”

This time, however, the developers’ focus should be on the next gen versions of “Cyberbunk 2077” or “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt”, which will be released for the PlayStation in the first and second quarter of 2022. 5 and Xbox Series X / S will be released.
