In a day or two, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season One will finally start, following a delay from last week. This season will be bigger than the post-release seasons of Modern Warfare, with new content coming in for both Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warson.
Black Ops Cold War Season One – The Times Start
As Black Ops Cold War Season One begins this week, players will have to complete different downloads, available at different times. The first was actually already released; A Product Season One update spread across all platforms on December 7 at 11:00 PM PT. That update includes various bug fixes and quality of life improvements designed to prepare the game for the start of the season. Of course, new content in this update is not yet accessible, and will not be available until the 16th.
Two more content updates are coming to Black Ops Cold War and Warson. The first of these, Black Ops for the Cold War, comes out on December 15th. Meanwhile, the Warson update will start the next day. In all likelihood, each of these updates will be available for download at 11:00 PM PT. Once the second update is released, Season One will officially launch on the 16th. At that point, all new content will become accessible.
Significantly, Warson is set to gain a key content integration, bringing the Black Ops Cold War’s arsenal to the game. This includes more than 30 weapons, vehicles and equipment in addition to the game’s operators. This content is available to play on the new Renaissance Island map. Official patch notes for upcoming Season One updates are not yet available. However, they will be released indirectly Troy’s Game Intel Blog Closer to their start.
