Salvador’s Bitcoin-Scoop
El Salvador was the first country to introduce bitcoin as a legal tender on September 7, 2021 against the US dollar. At the time, Bukhel justified the move, saying it would stimulate investment in the country and benefit 70% of citizens who do not have access to traditional financial services.
