Many COD mobile players have recently encountered the problem when starting the game. After downloading the game from the Google Play Store, the default loading screen will appear when players activate the COD mobile on their devices, but soon, a pop-up message will appear on the screen stating, ‘Download configuration failed. Make sure your device is connected to the network and restart the game. ‘

Whether the players are connected via mobile data or WiFi, this message still appears, thus annoying them every time they try to sign in to the game. In this article, we will discuss and explain the error and show you how to solve this problem.

What is ‘Download Configuration Failure Error’ on COD Mobile and how to resolve it?

The error displayed on the screen is actually a network error that does not allow players to connect to the game’s servers, although the device is connected via mobile data or via WiFi.

Connecting to a VPN may not be the right thing to do when it comes to increasing ping in the game. The latter method will be detailed, it will definitely work on all devices.
