    Security researchers at Dr.Web have discovered the Trojan horse Android.Cynos.7.origin in more than 190 video game applications listed on the Chinese giant online store Huawei AppGallery.
    Among them, games like simulation, arcade, strategy, shooting. In total, these infected apps have a total of over 9.3 million downloads or multiple victims.

    Once installed, this malicious code receives information such as phone number, geolocation data, mobile network parameters, terminal technical specifications, and video game usage data. Malware then displays ads.

    Huawei has removed one of the 190 applications mentioned by Dr.Web with one door open.

    “We are now actively working to fix the applications of the affected developers. Once we make sure that all the applications are compatible, they will be re-listed in the AppGallery so that consumers can re-download their favorite applications and continue to enjoy them.”, Huawei explained Bleeding computer.
