WhatsApp said in its official announcement that the messaging app will not support older versions of Android and iOS. So you can only use the messaging app if you have a smartphone that supports Android 4.1 and later and iOS 10 and later. Otherwise, WhatsApp has been officially disabled on many iPhones and Android from today until November 1st.
Why does WhatsApp no longer work?
The reason for the discontinuation of services on these smartphones is that the instant messaging app no longer supports older versions of Android and iOS. To ensure the security of the application and the privacy of the user.

Damn! I don’t like WhatsApp anymore. How do I do that?

- Select a Google Account to backup your chat history. If you do not have a linked Google Account, tap Add Account when prompted and enter your account credentials
- Touch By backup Select the network you want to use for backup.
