Learn today via Twitter account The forest of illusion The executable version of Dinosaur Planet on Nintendo 64 has been released online! The group, which aims to protect Nintendo games, has been buying this version since December 2000 from a collector in Sweden.
Dinosaur Planet was canceled on the Nintendo 64 to convert its development to the Nintendo GameCube. The game was finally released in 2002 as Star Fox Adventures, the last project created by Rare for Nintendo.

Not much is known about the Dinosaur Planet on the Nintendo 64. Development is said to have seldom begun after the release of DD Kong Racing. Rare planned to use an expansion pack and a 64MP cartridge to push the Nintendo 64 to its limit.
The game was released during E3 2000 in order to introduce the character of Hero Saber and Crystal to the general public. When he noticed that Saber Fox looked like McLeod, Shigeru Miyamoto decided to change the game to release it under the Star Fox license.
