As Sony promised last month, the Apple TV app is now available for download on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles through the PlayStation Store.
It will officially launch the PlayStation 5 tomorrow, November 12th in the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea. The new console will be available in many countries from November 19th. However, consumers who own the PlayStation 4 can get the app.
The Apple TV app contains a wide variety of content from the iTunes Store and third-party content providers, including Showtime, Stars and Nokin. The app also gives access to Apple TV +, Apple’s own streaming platform for hosting original movies, TV shows and documentaries.
The Apple TV + comes with a monthly subscription of $ 4.99, but users can add it to the Apple One bundle or even get a 1 year free trial when purchasing a new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV or Mac.
Earlier this week, Apple unveiled the Apple TV app for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S through the Microsoft Store. In addition to Apple devices, users can view the Apple TV app on Samsung, LG, Vizio and Sony smart TVs, as well as Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices.
