Office 2019 for MacOS version 16.46 is now available – it-blogger.net

Microsoft has released the update announced as part of Patch Day for February 2021 with version number 16.46 for Office 2019 for MacOS. This update introduces audit logs for sensitive labels: information is now available to administrators at Microsoft 365 audit logs when users use, modify, or remove sensitive labels in their documents and emails. Additionally, it is now possible to automatically apply or recommend sensitive labels in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint: the Office may recommend or use a sensitive label based on the detected confidential content. More information can be found here Here. The remaining updates provide the latest fixes and improve stability. The update was released on February 16, 2021 and is now available for download. If you are using Office 365 from Mac App Store to MacOS you should receive an automatic update within the next 24 hours.

The update to version 16.46 requires MacOS 10.14 Mojave and higher, and can be downloaded through Auto Update or Microsoft. To use Automatic Update, launch an app and check Help> Updates. More information about this update can be found below or through Microsoft.

• Sensitivity labels can be used or suggested automatically: A sensitivity label can be suggested or used automatically based on the sensitivity content that the office detects.
• Government customers can use confidential labels for their documents and emails: The confidential label function is now available to customers in GCC and GCC-H contexts.
