The Novoo 6-in-1 USB-C Hub is 11.6 x 3 cm and 1 cm thick. In stick form, it can easily find its place in a carrying bag with a laptop. The cable is approximately 7.5 inches long and provides enough flexibility to deflect it as needed.
Nouveau’s shell is a metal with a coating similar to Apple’s MacBook, although the grain is rough. Only the ends fitted to this metal frame are made of plastic.
All connections are located on one side of the hub, except for the HDMI port on one end with the USB-C cable on the opposite side. So the USB 3.0 standard has three full-size USB ports and an SD and microSD card reader.
The three USB ports are USB 3.0 standard (5 Gb / s) and theoretically reach 600 MB / s. For the card reader, the performance provided by Novoo is very brief, so during the performance test it will be an amazing… HDMI port standard is 1.4, which allows to achieve 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, but only at 30 Hz. If it’s enough to watch a movie occasionally for office use, these 30 Hz are too low. Liquidity. No problem in full HD: 60 Hz refresh rate is well maintained.
The Novoo 6-in-1 Hub does not overheat, reporting 33 degrees Celsius on its entire metal plate, which distributes heat evenly.
