How to make an audio or video call from your computer?

Many users seem to have missed the message, but have been able to call loved ones via audio or video on WhatsApp using a computer since early March.

These features, which until then were only reserved for mobile applications, are now available exclusively on Windows and MacOS.

1. Download and install WhatsApp

2. Connect your WhatsApp account

Open the WhatsApp app on your computer. The window that opens shows the QR code to be scanned from the WhatsApp application installed on your smartphone.

Open WhatsApp on your smartphone and enter Settings, And go to the menu WhatsApp Web / Desktop. Then press Connect the device Scan the QR code displayed on the WhatsApp application installed on your computer.

The connection between the WhatsApp app on your smartphone and the WhatsApp app on your computer is now established. You need to find all the conversations stored on your smartphone on your computer.

3. Start an audio or video call from your computer

Enter one of your existing conversations or click the appropriate button to select your correspondent and start a new conversation.

In the chat window, click the button where the camera appears to start the video call, or the button where the phone appears to call in the audio. The call will start automatically in the remote window. You can finish it by clicking the hang up button as you usually do on your smartphone.
