Many users seem to have missed the message, but have been able to call loved ones via audio or video on WhatsApp using a computer since early March.
These features, which until then were only reserved for mobile applications, are now available exclusively on Windows and MacOS.
To enjoy it, you need to download and install the app on your computer and then connect the built-in WhatsApp account on your smartphone to the desktop app. Please note that audio and video calls are only accessible from the exclusive app, and the web version of WhatsApp will always be restricted to SMS only.
