Setting up the Xbox Series X is very easy. All device requirements are your account details, and it is ready to start playing and exhale a lot of hot air. However, like me, if you are not very familiar with the Xbox ecosystem, you may find a console ready to go and no games to play.

Since I spent a lot of time figuring out the solution for downloading games from my library to my Xbox Series X, here is a simple guide on how you can do this.

Step 1 – Run the console

Yes, we start early. Power on your console, sign in and do what you have to do so you see the home screen. You do not need to press Xbox button. It lights up the button in the middle of the controller.

Step 2 – Go to your games

After pressing the Xbox button, you should go My games and apps. This is the second option at the bottom of the menu, which will exit. Press A to open the new menu, then press A again See all desire.

You are now on the screen showing all the games you have installed. If you have not downloaded anything yet, it will be empty.

    Step 3 – Own Games

You are on a home extension. From this game page, select the option to view yourself The whole library. This is the fourth option from the list.

Now you will see the new range options on the right hand side of the screen. Select All own games.

Now you have finally provided a list of all the games you own and download. You can download all of these games on your Xbox Series X, but not everyone has the Xbox Series X version. All games played will display an ‘X / S’ icon in the lower right corner of its icon.

Now that you know how to download your games on your Xbox Series X, read our guide on how to uninstall them when you inevitably install multiples.
