Fortnight Update 2.91 Patch Notes – Surprise Epic Download Attacks PS4, Xbox, Switch and many more | Gaming | Entertainment

Fortnight developer has surprised fans of the epic game with a new midweek update.

The Fordnight update 2.91 is available for download on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and Android devices.

The new patch will weigh about 1GB on the PS4, although sizes may vary on other platforms.

The good news about the latest update is that it requires no server downtime, which means you can go back to active once installed.

The bad news is that it has not made any major changes to the Battle Royale game, which means the splitting Knight Knights game mode is here to stay.

Party Royal, on the other hand is not so lucky. According to Fortnight Update 2.91 Patch Notes, Party Royal mode has been temporarily disabled.

Epic Games confirmed the news on Twitter, saying fans will be able to make some important changes to the patch and adjust to game mode.

Elsewhere, the latest Fortnight maintenance link fixes a major stability issue on the Nintendo Switch, and does control adjustment on Android.

“We started using maintenance patches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC and Android,” says an epic sports report.

“This link indicates party royal issues, stability issues on the Nintendo Switch, and look stick / inventory slot + bar button size issues on Android.

“Party Royal has been temporarily disabled due to the Royal Amendments coming out. We will provide an update as soon as it is reactivated.”

Unfortunately fans will have to wait for the next big Fortnight update, which is likely to launch next week.

The Fort Nightmares event is expected to start as soon as it is over, with the update at the big end of the season event sure to be 14.50.

The event will involve the Marvel villain Galactus, who will destroy parts of the map in preparation for next season.

In the meantime, fans can continue to receive special Halloween rewards by attending the Fort Nightmares event.

“Shadow Midas and his resurrected Henchman have reclaimed what the agency once was,” the official statement reads.

“During Fort Nightmares, you will follow in their footsteps and hunt down your enemies on the island.

“After being expelled in solo, dios or squats, return to battle as a shadow for your shot at a Nightmare Royale. Join fellow shadows to defeat the survivors using your other worldly abilities such as possessing the bodies of vehicles …”
