Buyers of Gold Steel IV digital pre-orders can not download the game

When it comes to the trails of the Gold Steel IV there seems to be a hurricane in the hands of NIS America and the PlayStation. The roll-flaming title is on PS4 in North America and Europe today (it’s October 27), but some fans can’t even begin their download.

Those who pre-order the game on the PlayStation Store will not actually be able to download it, as the pre-order is not opened properly. It is not clear who is responsible for this, but fans of the series have been searching for answers on social media for both Nisa and PlayStation support.

Now, all we have to go through is this single tweet from the aforementioned publisher, which was 17 hours ago (at the time of writing):

Nisha did not provide further updates on the situation.

To be clear, those who do not pre-order can buy the game digitally with zero issues. If you try to do so with an advance order already in your account, you will not be able to. Again, this is a total mess.

It’s really a shame that this is happening. We recently played for review by Gold Steel IV and we loved it so much. We hope this whole thing will be resolved soon then.
