    The Remapper app lets you reassign buttons

All you have to do is uninstall the application stored on this button. It works not only with the application buttons on the new stick remote control, but also with the remote control Fire TV version TV.

    For example, if you want to reassign the Disney + app button, you must first uninstall Disney + from your Fire TV stick. You can reassign the key.

    The Prime Video and Amazon Music buttons cannot be reassigned because the apps cannot be uninstalled.

    In the following, we will use the example of Disney + to illustrate how to assign an application button to another application.

    Example: Assign YouTube to the Disney + button

    First, you need to make sure you have Disney +. To do this, Disney + must appear under “My Orders” in your Amazon account. If you do not know if you already have Disney + installed, press the Disney + button on the remote control to install the app. If you have confirmed that Disney + is installed, you will need to uninstall the app again.

    The Disney + key can not be reassigned and continue to use the app. Always select the application key for the reset that you definitely do not want to use anymore.

    Now enter the code 2214 in the URL bar of the download application. The Disney + Remaker app should open. Start the installation.

    Once the application is successfully installed, the Remapper application will open. Press the Disney + button on your remote control. This may take a few seconds for the first time.

    Now select the app you want to open instead of Disney +. In our example, YouTube. Once YouTube is selected, you can close the app. The Disney + button will now open the YouTube app.

    If you want to change the settings in the future, press the Disney + button 5 to 10 times in a row. This will reset the settings of the Remapper application.

    If you would like to reassign another key, select the appropriate code from this list.

    • Netflix: 2210
    • Disney +: 2214
    • TVNOW: 2241
    • DAZN: 2240
