Zach Group Introduces Fifth Model of English Brand, Ready to Land on the Old Continent, Focusing on Refined Design and Electrified Machines

This is certainly not MG, but the acquisition of SAIC, one of the leading Chinese automakers, gives the famous British brand the opportunity to become a player again after the middle decades, thanks to massive investments. The new model is called the MG One and was delivered in China, where it will go on sale in a few weeks. 457 cm long, 186 cm wide and 160 cm high with a wheelbase of 267 cm: the best dimensions to compete even in Europe. This is an important model because it introduced a brand new design, and the group is based on the brand new Sigma platform. Currently, this range includes the compact electric SUV ZS EV and EHS rechargeable hybrid sedan but by the end of the year we will see the Marvel R electric crossover and the 5 electric station wagons in Italy.

    The future

    –

The MG One is offered in two versions: Beta and Alpha, differing in some aesthetic components, mainly concentrated on the front and rear. The alpha differs from the center by a mask with strips connecting to the sides, the elements in beta are ‘semicircular’. On the back, the main differences focus on the shape of the fake tailpipes: the alpha has a rectangular tail tube, and the beta has two square shaped elements. The interiors are not yet revealed, but they are easily upgraded than the other models given in the new model. Initially, the MG One was powered by a 1.5 turbo petrol engine with 178 hp, 6-speed manual gearbox or dual clutch robot capable of pushing the car up to 195 km / h. However, the Sigma operating system based on it also offers the use of rechargeable batteries or hybrid engines with pure electricity. So, expecting news soon is easy.
