SpaceX unveiled the beta version of its Starling satellite Internet on October 26, and people are surprised at the current download speed as beta users notice download speeds of 160-174 megabytes per second.

Beta users were asked to pay a $ 600 upfront fee to access the Internet, which Musk announced as “Betting Nothing Beta”. However, Musk tried to underestimate his hand, saying that the Internet would provide download speeds of 50 to 150 Mbps. However, the download speed has taken users by surprise.

Starling will use nearly 900 satellites to launch the Internet underground. After users began sharing screen shots of download speeds, SpaceX stated that it wanted to “lower your initial expectations” to ensure that users did not experience any disappointment when starting the beta test.

However, some users shared their experiences where downloads were paused for a few seconds and even internet service was completely disrupted for a short period of time, with some saying that the presence of trees could cause disruption. However, Starling is one of the fastest internet service providers in the United States with constant speed.

Many users are now appreciating the new web system, while some have complained about the cost involved. The beta version is available for $ 99 a month, but there are additional costs, which is 9,499 per kit with a tripod, WiFi router and a terminal to connect to Starling satellites. While some may not be happy with the massive cost, some say they will be happy to pay even more if the speed is the same or increased, especially now that the majority of people work from home.

Users are now being asked to share their screenshots a few days later to see if SpaceX can maintain the quality of the service they started offering.
