Border Improvements PLC (AIM: FDEV) today announced that the much-anticipated Elite Danger: PC Alpha for the Odyssey game pack will launch on March 29th. In anticipation of the exciting new game features the Commander will experience for the first time during the Alpha, Frontier has released a video showing an Odyssey Missions playthrough, which includes game footage from a Raid Mission.
The video shows a group of three commanders launching a bold attack on a military base. Their goal: to shut down the center of power and ultimately weaken the opposition.
All three commanders on the Raid team are well-suited for their assigned role, and are selected from the vast space, weapons and equipment available in the Elite Dangerous: Odyssey. Their tactical equipment gives them an advantage in the tasks assigned to them, whether they infiltrate an undetected base, extinguish a fire in the event of an alarm, or hack or quickly evacuate their troops when enemy forces overwhelm them.
The rich structure and open design of the Elite Dangerous Galaxy adds new depth to Odyssey’s under-earth game. By maintaining the vast distances measured in light years and the myriad missions available to players, the Odyssey becomes the richest world in the already elite dangerous world, introducing the comprehensive range needed for the game, which significantly expands and provides a unique experience for all commanders in addition to the vast galaxy they already explore, Enjoy in your own way.
Elite Danger: Odyssey 2021 comes with PC Alpha in late spring, starting March 29th.
