As for Asterix and Obelix, Beat’em Up says Asterix & Obelix: Slap them all! Defeat all kinds of Romans, pirates, Normans and other enemies. The stories are based on a well-known comedy series.

For decades, Asterix and Obelix have been playing a variety of video games. In addition to jump ‘n’ runs, beat ’em ups are the most common type. Famous Gauls, Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All! ‘S latest video game excursion, no wonder it relies on the classic thrashing gameplay of its kind. Development Studio Mr. Nuts Studio’s game is divided into six episodes, each inspired by a comic about two main characters. However, the well-known adventures of Asterix and Obelix are very compact and rely only on the minimal plot described in the trivial scenes.

    Gaelic beating game

The well-known Asterix and Obelix stories, despite their charm, are so concise that they cannot be fully revealed. If the game is still on, it can be inferred now. But this is only partly the case. Basically, the game works well. Be it Asterix or Obelix, we roam around Gaul, Britain, Spain, Egypt and other places on different levels and attack Romans, pirates, pirates and many more. In addition to mild success, we have had many tough hits and throws. So far everything is fine. Unfortunately, not all entries are always properly recognized, which can be lost in the confusion of many enemies.

Too intense, when the game is good, it wears out very quickly. Even rare deviations like races, in which we have to quickly press a button or wild boar hunting does not really help. Even before the end of the first action, we have the feeling that we already know everything in terms of the game – except for the small bonus levels. Level by level, we do nothing but beat enemies. Perfect encounters, great custom trails or even collections do not include it in the game.

    Not very encouraging

Please do not misunderstand this. Kamble basically works and delivers the classic Beat’m up-fair. Streets of Rage 4, just as good as representatives of many genres like Asterix & Obilix: Slap them all! But not always. The game is very weak, the levels are very simply configured and the various enemies are very limited. Even the bosses don’t really change the structure of the game and they often repeat themselves. In the course of six episodes we often fight against the Centurions and the pirate Captain Redbird. Even in local multiplayer mode for two, there is not much pleasure to play. The replay value was not provided despite the difficulty of the four levels. We were not impressed by the high score hunt or the free game mode that could not be opened.

    Proper implementation

This is unfortunate, because Asterix & Obelix: slap them all! Gives a good picture on the technical side. We did not notice a large glitch or a decrease in the frame rate. Beat ’em up runs smoothly, even if several enemies appear at once. In addition, the Asterix and Obelix game trumps with a very chic, hand-drawn graphic style. It captures the template brilliantly and with a successful, highly sophisticated soundtrack, guarantees that the Asterix and Obelix environment will always be perfect.

German voice actors leave an average impression. However, with the exception of the narrator, the verses in the cut scenes are not set to music anyway. Instead, Asterix and Ophilix repeat some short sentences over time during the game. The most important part of the story is not set to music, but we do not understand why it underscores the overall picture of the best average beat ’em up.

    Conclusion:

I really want Asterix & Obelix: Slap them all! To like. I want to give the game a chance. The reason for this is definitely the comics about the two cowls. Basically, the Beat’m-up gameplay goes well with Asterix and Ophilix. After all, in comics and movies they often beat the Romans, pirates and other enemies. But Asterix & Obelix: Slap them all! Minimizes fun, contrasting and glamorous comic templates to pure action. Although well-known stories are executed directly, there are no jokes, humorous dialogues or entertaining adventures. Comic templates are greatly reduced for that. In addition, the game never felt as good as other types of reps, but is still a huge strength. At least I enjoyed beating enemies with Asterix or Obelix. But fatigue occurs very quickly, which is why the game should be enjoyed at the best level. Or type fans looking for a different, better beat’m up on switch. Asterix and Obelix fans may want an attractive graphic style and a successful atmosphere, but be prepared for the average gaming experience.
