We are delighted to be back in Bergamo – organizer Armando Piccaluga explains -. For me for most rides this marks the first event to be closed in a year and, among other things, an iconic city. Our division was very fine, which is why it is important that we all start from here. We do it the day before the holiday of the city’s patron saint, Alessandro, which has always been deeply felt. The organization began Thursday, with great care in complying with anti-Govt rules. “We care about safety – Piccadilly continues – that’s why we strictly enforce all the rules: spacing, use of masks, disinfectant gel, constant cleaning of all attractions and showing green pass.” This year 80 rides into Luna Park will be managed by about 400 operators. “All of our rides have been vaccinated – Pichaluka is keen to underline – and we have been thinking of discounted prices every Wednesday when vaccinated: this is a way to promote the vaccine needed to defeat this virus.” Among the many attractions, there are many such as traditional bumper cars, “swallow plane”, chain carousel and the latest generation “booster” and “rocket”. “Bergamo is one of the cities we care about the most – Carousel Stephanie Piccaluga underscores that her family has been in the city for 7 generations – and we hope to be able to start all over again as before. We want to make it clear that we are a carefree place and strictly abide by all the rules.
