Xbox players across the UK have a fresh selection of games to explore this week as Microsoft’s latest Free Play Days promotion offers a mix of action, strategy, sport and adventure. The limited-time event gives eligible players access to several titles at no additional cost, while two popular games are available to all Xbox users without requiring a Game Pass subscription.
From 16 to 21 July, players can experience everything from the criminal underworld of Los Santos to the creative world of wildlife conservation, alongside anime-inspired combat and family-friendly multiplayer sports.
Which Games Are Available During Xbox Free Play Days?
Xbox has confirmed that Crisol: Theater of Idols, Planet Zoo: Console Edition, and Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports are available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Standard and Game Pass Core members from Thursday 16 July until Sunday 19 July.
Meanwhile, Grand Theft Auto Online (Xbox Series X|S) is available free for all Xbox members from 14 July until 21 July, with no Game Pass subscription required.
Players can also download and play Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 during the Free Play Days event without needing a Game Pass membership.
How to Download the Free Play Days Games
Eligible players can install the games by visiting their individual product pages through the Microsoft Store on Xbox or Xbox.com while signed into their Xbox account.
On console, users can also find the promotion by navigating to the Subscriptions section in the Xbox Store and selecting the Free Play Days collection on Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One.
Players who decide to purchase any of the featured titles after the trial period can continue with their existing save progress, achievements and Gamerscore. Microsoft has noted that discounts and regional availability may vary.

Return to Los Santos Without Game Pass
Players can dive into the ever-expanding online world of Grand Theft Auto Online, where up to 30 players can build their own criminal empire across Los Santos.
The latest update introduces The Kortz Center Heist, allowing players to target valuable artwork while working alongside the mysterious Mr. Faber and his fixer Raf De Angelis on a new large-scale mission.
