To spread the excitement this December, two artists have created maps of Kaversham with a Christmas theme.
The Kowersham District and Residents Association (CEDRA) came up with a small project to help maintain community sentiment.
They invited artists to create black and white drawings of the Kaversham logos and Liz Real and Janina Maker produced colorful drawings.

After Santa visits from his work, beautiful huts of the 16th century, a snowman and Rudolph come out of the gates of Caversham Court Garden, where Janina owns the iconic Coversham Library.
Liz, in her maps, tried through those gates to see the carol singers through the tea hut.
The Griffins pair of grass is decorated Christmas all over the Thames and St. Peter’s Church has a large Christmas tree.
Janina Maher, a local artist and bookseller, said: “I have a passion for painting buildings and I enjoy being approached by Ketra.
“It’s a fantastic project, I hope people will color with their pens and pencils.”

Liz Real, who has lived in Gowersham for more than 25 years, said: “I often use Gowersham and especially Gowersham Court Gardens as inspiration.
“I hope both children and adults will have fun with the drawings and fulfill their creative interest when they color!”
Helen Lambert, president of Ketra, said: “We were delighted with the response from Liz and Janina who actually captured the idea.
“This is a free resource for anyone, and it would be wonderful if these appeared in the windows before wishing everyone a Happy Coversham Christmas.”
