Update 13.2.0 for more stability

Update 13.2.0 for more stability

From Rhonda Bachmann
New update for Nintendo’s hybrid console switch has been released. Minor upgrade 13.2.0 should provide greater stability of the device. Compared to the previous update, the latest connection to the console is much less.

An update with version number 13.2.0 was recently released for the Nintendo Switch. It seems to be a minor interim update, with no major changes. According to Nintendo, the current connection offers “general improvements to system stability to increase usability.”

However, according to Dataminern, the patch is little more than consistency. A component of the system responsible for the transaction with Nintendo servers is said to have been updated. There is also said to be an update to the Overlay applet that displays information to users in the upper left corner. Datamines believe that these are just bug fixes. There is now support for the Chinese CADPA classification system.

The latest update should be downloaded automatically on the console. However, the update can also be triggered manually. The input for this can be found in the settings under “System” and “System Update”. Once selected, you need to download the latest patch from the Nintendo Switch.

Overall, the 13.2.0 update did not seem very interesting. This is different from the previous update 13.1.0. The update brings the new subscription Switch Online + and the prototype of the N64 games with it. However, shortly after the new service was launched, some users reported that the emulation of some games was still substandard. For example, in Mario Kart 64 and Super Mario 64, there was a setback or a faulty display of the system.
