Updated from Windows 10 to Windows 11, but nostalgia for the Start menu or the ability to drag and drop on the taskbar? Don’t worry, Windows 10 can go back to 10 days.
Switching to Windows 11 did not convince you, some features are not yet available and you have lost your habits. Fear not, you can switch back to Windows 10 after a maximum of ten days after switching to Windows 11. Follow the guide.
0. Prerequisite
- A PC update from Windows 10 to Windows 11
- Within 10 days of updating to Windows 11
- No deleted files from Windows 10
The first step is to access the Windows 11 settings. The easiest way is to find the settings icon in the shape of a cogwheel by clicking the Start button.
2. Material structure
Once the Settings menu opens, click on the first item available under the heading System. You can find the recovery menu in the list of options.
3. Go back
Recovery options are also useful if you want to make your computer new for resale or make a specific boot. We are interested in the Backtrack option here: Click on it.
4. Satisfaction Questionnaire
Since Microsoft is a little curious, the latter asks why you want to go back. There are no wrong answers here; This is a simple satisfaction question. Once your reason is given, select Next.
5. Check for updates
Microsoft is finally trying to talk about avoiding going back to Windows 10 by offering to check for updates that can fix the problem you are experiencing. Click to continue, thank you for continuing.
6. What you need to know
Windows’ final alerts remind you that software installed after the update will no longer be available, no matter what settings you change. It is a good idea to back up your files “in case”.
7. Don’t get stuck
Finally, the last warning and not the least. Make sure you know if you have your Windows 10 session password before you upgrade to Windows 11, without which you will not be able to access your session and the system will be completely locked.
8. Thanks for trying out Windows 11
You are now in the final stages … you need to click the Windows 10 button again to start the rollback process.
9. Catering
Your PC will restart and begin to reset Windows 10. This step will not take much time. Thus, with an SSD, we took less than 10 minutes to find Windows 10 on our test system.
