Documents describing the development of the original Nintendo Switch are said to have been leaked online. These documents, which are said to have been released on 4Chan, are said to contain not only detailed plans for the console’s design, but also personal keys related to the console’s security.
According to The forest of illusion On Twitter (via VGC), A Nintendo security account, this information may override the full security of the switch, thus allowing anyone with their hands on the keys to create their own game cartridges for the console. This means that Nintendo cannot fix the problem without making all the switch games unusable to date.
Fortunately, the leaked keys are not related to the final console, and it is said that the keys will change between the creation of these documents and the switch release.

Some interesting details about the initial development plans for the switch are also leaked. Highlighted by Twitter user Caitlin Molinas, Nintendo is said to have added support for Street Pass, Spot Pass and Pedometer, which were features of Nintendo’s previous consoles, and the switch plays with the idea of creating a dual screen.
In addition, the company said it was considering adding Miracast support to the switch, suggesting that the device should not be choked on a TV, but rather show wireless video on a TV.
While these ideas have not worked, it is interesting to see the features that Nintendo is reportedly considering implementing with the switch.
Another leak
Nintendo seems to have hit the bullet with this leak in terms of security, which is not the first leak the company has encountered this year. In 2020 alone, we saw leaks related to Nintendo DS rating cartridges and HD artwork for Nintendo 64 games.
We’ve also seen a lot of speculation and rumors about the Nintendo Switch Pro (or Nintendo Switch 2).
The Forest of Illusion has been rumored to be releasing another Nintendo Switch leak on Christmas Day (December 25) as many leaks have set their “last modified date” to this date.
