The two game modes have been officially postponed by 343 businesses. In Joseph Staten’s new update video, Forge and Coop will not be included until 2022.

As we now know, the latest installment of the Hollow science fiction series will be released this winter. At this time, Co-op campaign and Forge mode are not yet available, Studio 343 Industries now explains. The focus for the release is on single player campaign and multiplayer mode.

All of this information comes from 343 Industries ’brand new developer video about the upcoming Hollow, which discusses the shooter’s current status. In it, developer Joseph Staton emphasizes that the co-op campaign and Forge are still going on Take more time desire.

In the video, Staten talks a bit about the possibilities offered by the co-op campaign, but thanks to its complexity, it takes a while to create: “This is a fantastic, open, non-linear version of the Hollow campaign,” the video says.

Staten continues: “At the same time, the storage systems and all the technologies needed for this non-linear experience are more complex when you think about it, and more complex in the cooperative experience.”

If you’re worried that the whole game might not be on time, you can be relieved by the studio’s statement that they are “100 percent committed” to freeing the shooter in the winter. However, there is no actual release date yet, except that the Christmas business is targeted for 2021.
