On the night of February 9 to 10, 2022, the Nintendo Direct took place, bringing with it announcements, updates, the role of DLC and games. Splatoon 3 also had its small moment. The latter is dedicated to the co-operative system of the salmon run license.
February 2022 Nintendo returns to the next installment of the Direct Slutton license and specifically the salmon run, one of the methods introduced in Slutton 2. In this mode, players cooperate to collect eggs by defeating enemies and collecting them. A mode with a whole armada of creatures that takes place in three waves and prevents you from harvesting your goods.
New enemies for Splatoon 3
In the trailer, we find new enemies coming to lend a hand to their friends. We find there Fish This is a tower in which we watch the fish have fun. To defeat this enemy, it is necessary to defeat all the monsters that make it up. A The new boss The flipper-flipper can cover part of the paint while jumping, so it will go slowly before it hits you by crushing you.
The most interesting novelty in this mode is that the eggs can be thrown away so that they can be quickly transferred to the basket. This feature may seem harmless, but if you’ve already played Salmon Run, you may be stuck between monsters, and you’ll definitely want to develop a strategy to send or receive your eggs to your allies. Most of them are possible by covering each part.
While waiting to find your friends for fun games, we remind you that Splatoon 3 will be released this summer.
