The Sculls made the firefight difficult
Online from 04/05/2021 to 9:29 p.m.
Nine firefighters were on duty Monday evening after a fire broke out on the roof of a residential building in St. Marion (Linz-Land County). The strong gases of the wind made it very difficult to put out the fire.
Emergency services were called in St. Marion on suspicion of a roof fire. After a few minutes, it was raised to warn Level 2. Nine firefighters were on duty. According to initial reports, the fire was limited to a small area of the roof. Strong squares made the job of turning off difficult. However the fire was quickly brought under control and extinguished. For this a part of the roof skin had to be opened.
St. Marion-Strauss was closed to traffic for an hour or so difficult to pass.
