Chrome wrote! Nahulbeek Dungeon: Mother’s Disorder Comes to Nintendo Switch!
After its release on PC in September 2020, the popular Audio Saga finally arrives on our hybrid console. So, is this attendance in video games, good or bad?
What dungeon?
Nahulbeek’s universe came from the original work of the French writer John Long. It was originally one of the most popular audio saga daytime games. Later, Nahulbeek declined in comics, novels, and board games. Amulet of Disorder marks the first voyage in the video games of our adventurers.
Your adventure begins as an audio story. Ranger has commissioned a team of adventurers to retrieve the statue of Gladiolfurha. Written on tablets of scleros, the one-legged northern forest genome dances on the moon in twelve ham-wrapped statues, opening the door to Jaral Bagh and helping to fulfill the prophecy. But this prophecy, your team did not give a damn. They are lucky to have the option!
To recover your precious treasure, you have to travel through the dungeon of the famous Nahulbeek, full of traps and enemies that stand in your way. Even if you do not know Nahulbeek, you may understand it, we are in a medieval fantasy world. What could be better for this universe than playing a team with a ranger, an elf, a dwarf, a witch, an orc, a thief and a savage?
The group of adventurers is just like the others
– Dwarf: “It’s true, it feels like the brain of a deity.”
Your adventure will be stopped by the most fun conversations between your team members. Everyone has their own unique personality. It is a tradition that elves and dwarves hate each other. This can lead to very funny discussions between different protagonists. But in addition, a barbarian keeps only one word in his mouth (“Boston!”), An orc speaking in another language, a very frightened thief and sometimes a clumsy sorcerer. All in all, the original voices of the audio series are obviously part of the game. In short, we are in the world of Nahulbeek!
Dwarf: “I didn’t move until I was level 2!” “
Naheulbeuk Dungeon: Amulet of Disorder is a methodical tactical RPG. This translates to clearing the dungeon to recover various equipment and tactical warfare. Like the original work, your writing can be balanced by gaining experience. When this happens, you need to divide the points into attributes and capabilities. In the world of roll-flaming games these attributes are very standard. Increases the accuracy of address attacks. The Constitution will increase your living points. Strength determines physical damage. Intelligence, on the other hand, can be used to enhance your magical attacks. Glamor will then be used as part of support for a friendship. Finally, courage will determine the order in which the heroes of the fight perform their actions. Depending on the role of each adventurer and the way you play, it is up to you to choose wisely how to distribute these points. In terms of abilities, each level increase will open up a passive capacity and an active potential. The higher the level of the fighter, the more interesting the skills will be.
What is interesting about passive abilities is that it is the synergies between the characters that change the way we play. Each adventurer can unlock a passive ability, which will give a bonus when our dungeon raider is next to a certain person. So if you want to take advantage of all the bonuses at your fingertips it will cause a stutter to your brain.
In the course of the fight, we stay classic. Each character can perform two actions: an action and a special attack or skill. If you do not want to use a skill or want to attack, you can sprint and go for a wider circumference. Sometimes it can be very helpful to take cover. Here again, we are on the classic. There are two types of coverage, full and low. These covers will reduce the chance of your enemies attacking you.
Another important thing when traveling is the orientation of your character. At the end of each movement, it is necessary to define which direction your fighter will turn. Why is this important? If you are simply hit from behind or from the side, the damage can be catastrophic. Fortunately, this also applies to your enemies! So it is up to you to choose your position before attacking. But that’s not all! If your ally is in a nearby square, they will give you a hand if you attack an enemy. So, we have a bit of a little game of chess.
We talk about choosing the right moves, but sometimes you have to decide not to move. Why? This is because you and your opponents can attack a character within the range of trying to retreat at any time. So if your barbarian finds himself in front of three goblins, don’t move! Conversely, if you have three characters facing the enemy, you are in a position of strength. But be careful not to attack with any fighter thinking, because some are weaker than others or more effective from a distance. Because, if you are not focused, the enemies will be happy to hit your comrades. If this happens, if you do not heal the wounded person in a timely manner, he will not be available until the end of the fight, there will be experience fines and injuries, which will also bring penalties in battle. So it is very punitive, so take care of your partners.
Demanding game
Don’t be fooled by Nahulbeek’s dungeon’s frantic jokes, we’re handling a demanding game because we like them. If you are worried that you will not get the job done, there are four difficult settings. But even in normal mode, you have to think hard to achieve success. In addition, if you do not have experience in this type of game, you are given a good workout at the beginning of the game.
As for the game, the game console change that was initially released on the computer went well. Despite the many information and possibilities provided by Nahulbeek’s dungeon, the game interface is clear and efficient.
We will regret loading for a long time when we start fighting again or when we enter a new area. While the graphics are good in cartoon mode, to add a little extra negativity, the characters become a bit blurry when zoomed in, and worse when you want to observe the horizon in the distance (as much as possible). But that doesn’t stop the joy of playing in any way. So you need to know that you will not stay for hours thinking about the terrain.
Orcs, goblins and vampires, necromancers and … even chickens
Nintendo Switch version of Nahulbeek Dungeon “The Ruins of Limits” DLC. This DLC allows you to play as your favorite adventurers in a slightly different universe with new enemies like vampires and necromancers.
With all of this, the lifespan of the game becomes very significant. You will need at least fifty hours to get to the end of the game.
