Large-scale action for nine fire departments in the event of a fire in a residential building in Waller an der Tratnach

Nine firefighters were on duty Monday evening in a fire at a house in the Valen an der Dratnach (Kriezkirchen district).

Emergency services of nine firefighters triggered Fire Brigade Alarm 3, and rescue and police officers were on duty at a home in Wallen an der Trotnach.
“At 4:30 pm on June 7, 2021, according to the 62-year-old homeowner, an air compressor in his home may have been lowered several times. The man pushed the fallen FI circuit breaker several times. When activated, he noticed the compressor on the first floor started a fire, and the man tried to extinguish the fire with a garden hose, but it failed and the house and garage caught fire, with a total of nine firefighters extinguishing the fire, police said.
The fire primarily affected the roof structure and the upper part of the single-family home. Attempts were made to control the fire in the roof area by means of an internal attack and through a turntable ladder. One person was slightly injured in the fire and first aid was given at the site by emergency services.
