With the Google Docs download option, you can download some or all documents from the cloud to your desktop and mobile device in a variety of formats. These formats include common formats such as PDF and Microsoft Word (DOCX). We will show you how.

With Google Docs on your desktop and Android phone, you can download your documents in any format you like. However, on the iPhone or iPad, you can only do your paperwork for offline use. This means you can not technically download files, but view them offline in the Google Docs application.
