Some Nintendo Switch owners received an error code 2137-7504 when trying to sign in to the Nintendo eShop. The bug prevents some players from accessing their online store and downloading games they already have.
In particular, the error code means that Nintendo ESHOP or Switch online servers are currently down. The problem has nothing to do with the player – this is a problem with Nintendo’s servers. If you encounter this problem, there is nothing you can do about it. You have to wait for Nintendo to fix it at its end.

Server crashes are not uncommon because things like this happen all the time. Server maintenance usually helps to alleviate this problem, which is why companies often shut down servers voluntarily to fix them. However, some issues will eventually cause the servers to crash. This often happens when a large group tries to access the server at the same time, overloading and shutting down the servers. In this case, it is not known what caused the server to shut down and players to receive an error code 2137-7504.
