How to Download Your TikTok Videos
You have the option to download any video you have posted on TikTok at any time. For this:
- In your profile, click on the video you want to download,
- Click the three dots at the bottom right of the screen.
- Select video recording,
- The video is automatically saved in MP4 to your smartphone’s gallery.
Note that the TikTok watermark appears on any video published and downloaded from the platform.
How to download videos of other users from TikTok app
To download another user’s video, the latter must have authorized this option from their settings. If so, the option Save the video Available. For this:
- On the video you want to download, click the arrow icon on the right side of the screen.
- Click on Save the videoIf desired,
- The video is automatically saved in MP4 to your smartphone’s gallery.
Note that the downloaded video contains the TikTok watermark.
How to Download TikTok Videos on Desktop
TikTok has a web version that allows you to view your feed directly from your computer. With this support, Tiktok can also record video. To do this:
- Right click on the video you want to download.
- Select Save video as…,
- It will automatically save in MP4 format on your computer.
The recorded video contains the TikTok watermark and the author’s nickname. If you want to save or reuse another user’s video, make sure you get the author’s permission beforehand.
