It’s been three years since the release of the Fire Emblem Three House, so it’s high time that Nintendo and Intelligent Systems announced the new title for the popular Tactical RPG rights. Unfortunately, this will not be the case this time around, with a Mussoorie instead.
The Long and Juicy Fire Emblem license has multiplied titles since 1990, with 16 games available and no more than 3 years between two titles. The latest games have helped to popularize the license, especially the FE3H on the Nintendo Switch, which, despite some shortcomings, has been a huge success. The studio that created the license as the intelligence system has been quiet for the past few years. His investment in the development of FE3H was minimal, with most of the workload left to Koei Techmo games. Now, a dubious remake of Advance Wars 1 + 2 (another major license of the time) is being produced by another studio.
We have to wait for the real fire symbol. You could say that Nintendo Direct played with our emotions by announcing a new fire icon and sticking “Warriors” next to it. This is not an actual episode of the license, but another muse for easily licensing the license, for example Zelda Breathe of the Wild, which was licensed for a few years with the Hirol Warriors.
Is titled Fire Symbol Warriors: Three Beliefs, Which takes on the universe and the characters of the three houses, but with a new story. The output is relatively close as Nintendo is scheduled to switch on June 24, 2022.
