Here are some comparative screen shots of the Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers version this morning.

Square Enix seems to have done a good amount of work for this remaster. As for the visuals, the 3D models have been converted to HD, the writing has been refined, and now has a background filter feature. Players can choose between imitation pixel font and HD fonts and different screen resolutions. The game also features better background music, the option to turn enemy encounters on or off, an improved combat feature that makes them easier, and a new auto-combat feature. Full Chrono Cross: Radical Dreamers Edition comparison screenshots can be seen below. The last diagram shows the background filter disabled / enabled, showing the last updated character samples.

Chrono Cross: The version of Radical Dreamers was announced during the Nintendo Direct last February. This is the first appearance of the game on the Nintendo operating system, as it only appeared on the original PlayStation. You can download Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers version in Nintendo Switch on April 7, 2022 in French.
