Facebook Introduces Easier Version ‘Instagram Lite’ for Download in 170 Countries

The social media company is constantly expanding in all corners of the world. Facebook on Wednesday launched the light version of its Instagram photo and video sharing service, targeting isolated communities in rural areas and without high-speed Internet access. Weighing only 2 megabytes, “Instagram Lite” (up to 30 MB for the full version) can be downloaded on devices with Google’s Android mobile operating system. The application is not currently available in the Apple Online Store.
