Twenty-two days after the Perseverance rover landed on Mars, CNES is holding a press conference on Wednesday, March 10 at 5.30 pm to conduct the first health test of the laser camera “Super Cam” designed in Toulouse. As a reminder, this “highly-complex and highly innovative” tool should allow the Mars 2020 mission to measure the rocks of Mars, their mineralogy, describe their morphological structure, and understand the atmosphere of the Red Planet.
