Back in May 2020, we informed you about the reincarnation of Dino Crisis. Dino Crisis Reincarnation is an unofficial patch for the Japanese source Next PC version of Dino Crisis, which allows for some new graphical features. One of them is the good API as it replaces DirectDra 5.00 with DirectX9. And today, a new HD texture pack has been released for it.

Dino Crisis Reincarnation combines the new 3D rendering mode with more precise transition methods, warping motion and texture. It also improves the sound capabilities of the game, changing the audio driver from 22050Hz 8bit audio driver to 44100Hz 16 bits. Additionally, it fixes a bug where music can be further accelerated when a player is damaged in rooms without healing. In addition, it allows PC gamers to use resolutions higher than 640 × 480.

As you can see, this pack adjusts the texture of the game. To achieve this, Reddit is a member Fabrizi 0_ AI- improved methods were used. This means that these new textures have the same art style as the vanilla ones. By reincarnating Dino Crisis and using this AI-enhanced HD texture pack, PC gamers can experience a reliable remaster of Dino Crisis.

Speaking of the Dino crisis, another modding team is currently working on a remake on Unreal Engine 4. From what we know, the Capcom team has not yet sent a C&D letter to Arclay.
