    Fritz! Fritz for the Powerline 1260E adapter! AVM is releasing an update for OS 7.27. Update FRITZ! Powerline and a FRITZ! Improves the automatic layout of the LAN connection between the box with the mesh. Also, FRITZ! Powerline Network Management Improved and FRITZ! Improved mesh integration in the user interface of the box. In addition, AVM has improved the stability and performance of WLAN and Powerline. FRITZ! FRITZ update for Powerline 1260E! Let’s start via the Box user interface. Repeaters, Powerline or Fritz! AVM recommends that all users check to see if there are any updates to products such as the phone. These updates are FRITZ! The box is available for download from the user interface and from the website. FRITZ is the easiest way to start an update! The mesh of the box is in perspective. FRITZ! Open the box user interface -> Enter the fritz.box in the web browser and login -> Click on Help -> Update -> Start the update by clicking New FRITZ! Search for OS New FRITZ! Follow the instructions to get the OS.

    FRITZ! Update for OS 7.27 is now available for download from AVM:

    FRITZ! The update to OS 7.27 includes the following new features and improvements:

    • Fritz! Powerline First Fritz! Improved the automatic layout of the LAN connection with the mesh up the box (Lane Bridge).
    • FRITZ! Improved powerline network management and optimal loop integration in the box user interface.
    • Improved stability and performance for WLAN and Powerline.

    FRITZ! Automatic detection of access type from OS 7.20

    You are a Fritz! A Fritz via Powerline Lane! If you want to use the box with mesh, you no longer need to set it up via the user interface. You can now easily set up this type of access at the push of a button:

    • FRITZ for factory systems! Reset the powerline.
    • Fritz using Lit Cable! Connect Powerline to Fritz and Fritz! Insert the powerline into the socket.
    • Wait for the WLAM LEDs in the Fritz! The powerline will continue to glow. Fritz! Powerline automatically sets itself to the “Lane Bridge” access type.
    • Fritz for the mesh! Turn on the powerline: Press the Connect button on Fritz! Powerline and within two minutes, Fritz! Press the Connect button on the box.
    • FRITZ including WLAN name and password! FRITZ all the important settings of the box! Powerline takes over, and FRITZ! Creates WLAN Mesh with box. If you want to switch from FRITZ to a link! Boxline via Powerline or WLAN! Remove the LAN cable.
