Last October, Microsoft unveiled the new version of its operating system with much fanfare. Unfortunately for Redmond, Windows 11 is not yet 100% ready because many features are not available on startup.
Of these, the ability to download and run Android applications on Windows may be the most anticipated. It finally took several weeks for the Amazon App Store to launch, but only for US members of the Insider program.

Four months later, Microsoft seems to be well on its way to releasing Amazon’s Android App Store more widely. The Amazon AppStore is officially available for initial access on the Microsoft Store. It currently allows access to over 1000 Android apps and games on Windows 11.

To get it, you need to go to Windows Update to update the operating system, then open the Microsoft Store to start downloading and installing updates. The Microsoft App Store needs to be updated and restarted. You can search and install the Amazon Appstore.

Unfortunately, if you can download it from France, Amazon’s Android App Store is not yet officially accessible in France.
