Cape Down – The popular messaging app WhatsApp is currently working on a new feature that will allow users to create a new WhatsApp web session using your fingerprint.
According to WaBetaInfo, an online site that keeps track of upcoming updates and features on the instant messaging platform, this feature is in development and will be available in future updates.
This is a privacy feature, so you know that no one will secretly create a new session if someone uses your phone temporarily.
WhatsApp has been providing WhatsApp web functionality for four years now, allowing you to use WhatsApp through your desktop browser.
This function requires users to open WhatsApp on your phone and scan your fingerprint to start a web session on your computer.
At this point, WhatsApp Web requires you to scan the QR code in your browser to start a new session.
Select a box to confirm that you are logged in to your browser, you also have the option that you only need an internet connection to restart your session following your phone.
However, it is not clear whether the fingerprint option changes the QR code path or is required even when restarting a session.
Facebook-owned app works on many awesome features. The group is believed to have the ability to always disable chats, multiple device support and more.
